1_) ACTION AREA :
The study area covers the part between Kzılavlu Basilica and the axis leading to Kele district. Important places in the area are the Library, Kızılavlu, Selinos stream and the Tabakhane bridge. The study area according to upper scale plans covers Kızılavlu, the area between tourism pasion area and residential routes.
2_) VALUE IN STRUDY AREA: SELINOS RIVER:
It is important cultural and natural value for urban context of Bergama.
KIZILAVLU:
Built in the name of the Egyptian God Serapis during the time of the Roman Emperor Hadrianus (AD177-138); It was built in accordance with the grid-shaped urbanism plan in the middle of the lower city of Rome. Double vaults made of cut stones with a width of 15 m and a length of 194 m were filled on the Selinos stream, and a wide flatness was obtained. A high courtyard wall of 100 x 260 m was built on this flat. Today, only 30-40 meters of this garden wall, which was demolished for the opening of Istiklal Square in 1915, is on Marble Direklar Street.
TABAKHANE BRIDGE:
Bergama tarihinde kentin örgütlenmesi için köprüler önemlidir.Tarih boyunca kentin gelişme aksını belirlemişlerdir.Tabakhane köprüsü Akrapolis ile kızılavluyu bağlamaktadır. Tabak Köprüsü Asklepion - Kutsal Yol - Virankapı - Forum aksını çayın kuzeyindeki aşağı Agora’ya ile bütünleştirir.
LIBRARY OF BERGAMA :
The library; It is located in Talatpaşa District, on Abacıhan Street, on 25 islands and 24 plots. Considering the construction technique and architectural style of the single storey building, it is thought that it was built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Library building registration year is 1994.

According to the upper scale plan, since half of the area is within the 3rd Degree archaeological and urban site, the structures on it will be demolished and transformed into a recreation area.Yapılaşmış alandaki dokuya uyumsuz yapılara müdahale edilecektir

Sun : The area has become unprotected in terms of sun by cleaning the structures in the 3rd degree site area. This situation was tried to be solved by positioning the trees peculiar to the region to cut the sun in order not to disturb the silhouette formed by the ancient buildings. At the same time, the west of the recreation area in the south of the design is intended to be sheltered with trees and sculptures, as well as existing registered buildings.
Vista : As seen from the north of Kinik street, ancient cities are generally seen. When the structures in the 3rd degree archeology site are destroyed, it is possible to see the view of the acropolis in the whole area. Especially in seating, the view direction is towards acrapolis.
Natural Value of Selinos River:
Selinos stream is a natural value for Bergama. No sustainable and incompatible intervention to the edges of the stream is allowed on the forehead.
